Rocky Balboa. Penguins. Motorcycles. Cats. These are some of the projects that showcase each student's individual intersts and endless creativity. Ever since the start, KidPrint volunteers have been looking forward to each Monday afternoon to meet the Tustin teens because of interesting projects they bring to light. Not only are the teens bringing unique projects, but parents are joining as well! We have had many parents who enter the room to watch their children, and start to learn TinkerCAD themselves. Teaching a wide range of ages reminds KidPrint volunteers that this program is a rewarding experience and it goes to show that 3D printing is a program for everyone to create anything.
Whether or not you have ay experience with computers, KidPrint volunteers are always willing to teach you hotkeys and methods to easily navigate yourself on TinkerCAD. KidPrint is a free and nonprofit organization, so please feel free to stop by or have a lesson. In the future, we hope to use the projects printed by each child to showcase in our Great Park demonstration in the near future. Additionally, we are always looking for more volunteers so please contact us if you are interested. We meet weekly in the Tustin library on Mondays at 4 PM. Please click the Contact section of the website if you have questions or inquiry.
